Red Vein Kratom

If you’re searching for red vein kratom strains, it’s likely because you’ve heard about what this strain of kratom can do for you. You have made a great choice – red vein kratom is one of my favorite strains for reasons I am about to fill you in on right now.

Also known as red maeng da kratom, this strain of kratom is most commonly known as ‘red kratom’ and is one of the most popular choices in a handful of strains that includes green vein kratom (also known as maeng da kratom) and white vein kratom (known simply as white kratom).

With over 10K customers trusting Kratom Exchange, all offering a wide range of feedback on their reasons for buying kratom, we’ve been able to compile a lot of great feedback. Red vein kratom is, without a doubt, one of the most recognized and loved strains in our community of awesome kratom customers. Through this article, I wanted to explain the reasons why red maeng da kratom is so widely appreciated. What is red kratom used for, and how might you benefit? Let’s take a look.

I’m going to get a little personal with you today and really lay my cards on the table. You found kratom products for a reason, which means that you and I have something in common. Whether it is for relieving pain, to try and treat depression, or maybe even just for a much-needed boost of energy and focus, we all have that ‘reason’ for seeking red maeng da kratom as a solution to a wide range of issues.

For me personally, this promising medicinal plant hailing from Southeast Asia provided several benefits, regardless of which kratom strain I used. Whether it was green kratom, red kratom, or white kratom, I found each kratom strain helped in various ways.

But it was some previous issues with my general mood and possible lingering depression that red maeng da kratom helped me with the most. Kratom is NOT an opioid, but it does land on opioid receptors which can have mood-stimulating effects similar to that of some opioids without the same potential nasty consequences.

I tried various other things to pull me through, such as diet and exercise, and they all helped – but it was red maeng da kratom that really got me over the line and feeling better.

By the way, it didn’t matter if it was Bali red kratom or red maeng da kratom I was trying. All of them are a part of the bigger red kratom leaf family and offer the same potential benefits, regardless of fancy names.

Basically, while red kratom is a popular strain searched for by new users, this is the one that holds the most meaning to me (and countless others), personally.

So, what do we know about red vein kratom scientifically speaking?

Well, like some kratom strains, red strain kratom belongs to the family called Mitragyna Speciosa. The interesting thing about this family strain is that it has a chemical makeup of nearly 30 alkaloid properties. Chief among them is the main alkaloid, mitragynine.

If you don’t know what an alkaloid is, it’s what gives kratom its potency ability – the medicinal chemistry, you might call it – so it’s really important. While 30 is a fair amount, there are strains out there that have even more. Red strain kratom is widely considered the most potent strain.

Each kratom strain has a unique alkaloid makeup, which is a reason we get excited about all the different strains, whether that be green vein kratom, white vein kratom, or red vein.

When I learned more about red vein kratom and the conditions it grows in, I was shocked. Red vein kratom can grow and thrive in some of the toughest growing conditions. How cool is that?

Sure, I’ve been in tough places in my life, I’m sure you have a survivor story yourself. For me, it was perfect, I survived and thrived using red vein kratoms. I believe everything happens for a reason. Since most strains of kratom come from red vein kratom anyway, it’s likely that includes your favorite kratom strains too.

While there is no scientific proof or conclusive study supporting the benefits of processed kratom leaves and various kratom products, the vast majority of users agree – at least anecdotally – that kratom products have helped them in very specific ways. Regardless of the kratom strain being used, kratom products are commonly applauded for helping with various issues in moderate doses.

Most people take red maeng da kratom (or simply ‘red kratom’) for the following reasons:

  • Physical pain-relieving effects (which may help in reducing pain or possibly even relieving pain entirely)
  • Relieve anxiety and stress
  • Used for a better mood
  • Sleep induction or sedative effects (in higher doses)
  • Energizing effects & libido enhancement (in lower doses)

There’s a number of different red vein kratom on the market, here’s my personal favorites.

  • Red Bali
  • Super Red
  • Red Maeng Da
  • Red Thai
  • Red Sumatra
  • Red Horned
  • Red Borneo

A lot of customers want to know which red vein kratom is the strongest. Generally speaking, most seasoned kratom users would say the red maeng da kratom is the strongest, although there isn’t much difference between the different strains. They all hit the spot in one way or another, and sometimes in slightly different ways.

For those who are unaware, there are basically three different types of kratom broken down into categories of color, depending on the color of the vein on the kratom leaf when it was picked. Each strain has a few different variants (for example, green maeng da is a strain of green kratom), and they all pretty much have similar effects – but with different levels of potency per effect.

So, the leaves are basically harvested from the tree and separated into batches of vein color. The leaves are then dried and crushed into powder form before being packaged for sale either as loose powder or capsule format, as the following kratom types:

Green kratom (also known as green maeng da)

Green kratom is produced from kratom leaves with a green vein running through the leaf (although sometimes it might be a blend of red and white vein kratom, depending on the quality assurance of the supplier, always buy from a reputable vendor!). Green is widely appreciated for having more stimulating effects.

Red Kratom

The most popular and widely available type of kratom, red vein (or red maeng da), is widely appreciated for having more sedative effects and is widely acknowledged as having more pain-relieving properties.

White Kratom

The white kratom strain is known for its stimulating and mood-enhancing effects. Many people take white kratom as a substitute for coffee.
Considered best for beginners and tends to have calming, soothing effects. It’s often used for pain relief and relaxation.

Yellow or Gold Kratom

This is a newer strain and not as widely available as red, green, or white. Most people describe the effects as somewhere in between green vein kratom and red strains and are often taken for mood, focus, and stimulating effects.
Personally, I would not include yellow as one of the main strains and prefer to consider red, green, and white as the three ‘main’ types of kratom, although some vendors do class yellow as a strain in its own right.

Sub Strains

Further to that, each strain has various sub-strains such as indo kratom, Borneo kratom, maeng da kratom, and a whole bunch of other strains. If you are new to kratom, it is probably best not to focus too much on all the different strains available because most of it is just a branding thing, to be honest. Just be aware of those three main strains, as mentioned above, and don’t worry too much about the other strains packaged with exotic names.

Depending on who you talk to, from my own personal experiences, and from customer feedback, I’d say Bali Red Kratom and Red Borneo Kratom are the ‘strongest’ in terms of most effects. I guess you could describe it as the espresso of kratom – each strain has similar effects, but red packs more of a punch overall, especially Borneo kratom.

If you are interested in learning more about the different strains, we have a pretty useful blog post over here going into more detail, also covering why red vein kratom might have specific benefits.

If you are new to this wonderful leaf, I would recommend starting with a red vein strain, such as red maeng da or red Bali, and see how it goes from there.

If you are indeed a rookie, remember there is no ‘proper dosage’ here. Just start out slow, testing out your tolerances by taking lower doses with a single gram, and wait to see how the effects hit you. Don’t go in with high doses of several grams from the get-go because you could be at risk of kratom overdose, which isn’t nice.

Basically, 1-3 grams might be considered a fairly ‘average’ dose. High doses would be considered somewhere around 5-7 grams. Low doses would be somewhere in the region of a single gram or two at a push. Be mindful of your dose. Always be sure to write it down so you know where you are. Again, rookies should start off with a small dose one or two times per day just to see how they get on.

The cool thing is, there are a lot of awesome people out there that are learning more and more about kratom. From what we know now, it’s red vein kratoms that may produce a high leaf quality and botanical quality. Hence why the red strain is highly sought after.

Be sure to visit our shop, where we have a wide range of kratom powders at affordable prices from the three main kratom strains, with real consistent quality sourced from the finest farms in Southeast asia!

What’s your favorite kratom strain? Go ahead and let us know!

If you’re searching to find out what Mitragyna Speciosa is, it’s likely you’re “new” to our world. First thing, welcome to the majestic world of kratom! Mitragyna Speciosa has been popular in the East for centuries. Only over the last decade or so has it become popular here in the West.

You may be wondering why you keep coming across Mitragyna Speciosa while searching for kratom products. Essentially, the two are one and the same, referring to kratom in general, which is a specific plant that originates from Southeast Asia in areas such as Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia. Kratom actually has an interesting history, going back a very long time indeed.

Mitragyna Speciosa has been used for hundreds of years in Eastern tribes. The ancient tribes recognized the power and benefits of this special tree. When you go back centuries, most medicines were herbal. The ancient tribes lived off the land and they found that kratom has a lot of benefits.

So, mitragyna Speciosa is commonly called kratom, which is a term that is more widely used than its official name.

Mitragyna Speciosa is a tropical tree that produces leaves which can be turned into kratom powder. The leaves of the tree contain a number of powerful attributes that might contain healing properties, pain relief properties, and much, much more. However, as already mentioned, there is no scientific proof of this, and all benefits are anecdotal.

Having said that, this is one heck of a popular product we are talking about here, with annual sales in the US alone approaching $2 billion. So, while all benefits are anecdotal, there has to be a reason why this natural product has such immense popularity!

Kratom leaves contain a variety of alkaloids and organic substances that are highly sought after. The primary alkaloid in kratom leaves is called mitragynine. Mitragynine may produce pain-relieving effects and other such effects that people enjoy a lot.

Here in the United States, kratom is legal in nearly all states. As long as you live in one of those states, you can buy high-quality products online through kratom vendors such as Kratom Exchange.

Again, there is a wide range of benefits that kratom might possibly give you. Consumers have commonly stated that kratom has helped them with;

  • Chronic Pain
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Weight Loss
  • Sex Drive

There are a lot of different ways you can take kratom powder. In Southeast Asia, chewing a freshly plucked leaf remains the most popular method of ingestion, but here in the States, we prefer to take our product in dried and crushed powder form.

Here are some of the most common methods used.

  • Toss And Wash – Toss the kratom powder in your mouth and wash it down with a drink.
  • Kratom Tea – Kratom is used as a herbal tea
  • Kratom Capsule – Kratom can be bought in capsules or you can make your own kratom capsules.
  • Smoking It – Some people prefer to smoke kratom.
  • A Kratom Drink – Mix your kratom with your favorite drink.
  • Kratom Extract – Make your own extract or buy kratom extract.

That’s a question you’ll have to answer for yourself. Men and women try kratom for a number of different reasons, some we talked about earlier in this article. I take kratom for the simple reason that it makes me feel better. I have a lot of friends that take kratom, and all of them have their own reasons.

You’re obviously doing your research, and that’s a good thing. Go ahead and educate yourself. You can actually learn a lot here at Kratom Exchange by reading all of our guides, articles, and blog posts.

Basically, you have two choices. You can either decide that this isn’t for you and give it a miss, or you can dabble with a few small doses to see how you get on. Again, it’s your call. Nobody can make that decision but you.

While Mitragyna Speciosa and kratom are two of the same thing, there’s a lot to learn when it comes to taking kratom. I want to leave you with a few final tips.

  • Make sure you buy kratom from a trusted kratom vendor.
  • Educate yourself on the different kratom strains, as each can deliver a different experience.
  • If you’re new to kratom and taking your first kratom dose, start out slow. Don’t overdo it. Gradually ease up slowly.
  • Learn the different properties of the 3 kratom strains: green, white, and red.
  • If you’re new to kratom, take notes of dosing amounts and methods. The goal is to find the best experience for you.

I know this is a lot to take in, but you’re doing the right thing by educating yourself about kratom. Here at Kratom Exchange, we have a wide range of good quality Mitragyna Speciosa to choose from. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask us!
