If you’ve never taken kratom before, I’m sure you have a lot of questions. One of the more common questions we’re asked by new kratom users is, “how long does kratom last?”
Let’s jump into it.
How Long Can Kratom Last?
I’m going to assume you’re referring to the kratom stimulation, or the euphoria feeling kratom can give you.
Before we get too deep into this guide, I have something I need to tell you that I always tell new kratom users.
Kratom effects everyone differently.
Even if this is the first time you’re taking kratom, no two experiences between people are going to be the same.
While I’m going to give you a few general rules of thumb, please remember, your kratom experience can be different from others.
The Effects Of Kratom And How Long Stimulation Can Last
The beginning effects of kratom can begin within 10-15 minutes after consuming your kratom.
Small doses of kratom can last for a few hours, 2-4 hours is a generalization for that. A small dose is often considered to be 1-2 grams, some saying 2-3 grams.
For a medium dose of kratom, 4-5 grams, the effects are stronger. For mid level doses, the effects can last for 4-5 hours.
Large kratom doses of 6-8 grams produces the strongest kratom effects. The effects can last up to 6 hours, for some even more.
The most potent kratom effects usually occur within the first 1-2 hours after taking your kratom dose.
The more kratom you take, the stronger the euphoria you’ll get.
What Kratom Should I Take?
Honestly, it depends on what effects you want to feel, what benefits you want to achieve.
Each kratom powder has different properties it can deliver to you.
From Maeng Da kratom (one of the most popular kratom strains) to yellow Sumatra kratom, there’s many different types of kratom powder for you to enjoy. Just as you are now, it’s best to explore the benefits you’re looking for and match it with the kratom powder that gives those benefits.
Personally, I’m a fan of white Maeng Da. It’s no secret, I’ve shared it over and over again. This was the first kratom powder I ever bought. The first batch of kratom was great, so I went to buy more kratom. The 2nd batch, it was far less impressive. This is why you want to buy your kratom from a top notch kratom vendor.
I’m also a fan of red Bali kratom.
There’s a lot of ways to take kratom powder. You’re going to get the opportunity to experiment with how you take kratom. Most kratom users use a method called “toss and wash.” With this, you toss kratom in your mouth and wash it down quickly with a drink. If you haven’t heard, the taste of kratom can be tough to adjust to when you’re first starting out. Due to this, people use kratom in different ways, such as a kratom tea, kratom capsules, smoking kratom and other techniques.
How Long Does Kratom Stay In Your System?
I figured some of you may be wondering about how long kratom stays in your system versus how long kratom stimulation last, so I wanted to touch on this too.
First, most companies don’t test for kratom.
We’re a strong knit community because many of us know how kratom has helped us.
Back to the question, it varies depending on your chemical makeup.
General rule of thumb, kratom can stay in your system for 4-10 days.
If you’re a regular kratom user, using kratom daily, it can take up to 14-18 days to be completely out of your system.
This is for a kratom pee test.
If a hair follicle is used to test for kratom, you may be longer to get it out of your system.
Remember, your age, gender and genetics can all play a role in how long kratom stays in your system.
The Benefits Of Kratom
There’s 3 kratom strains, white vein, green vein and red vein.
Each kratom strain and combination of kratom powders holds its own special properties.
The only way to know for sure how long kratom last is by buying kratom and giving it a try.
All of us our different, we have different chemical makeups, different genetics, ages, weight, genders.
I’ve talked to customers who feel kratom within 10-15 minutes, the total stimulation lasting for up to 12 hours just off a small kratom dose.
Again, kratom will effect you differently versus someone else.
